How to care for your wood floor How to care for your wood floor IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING INSTALLATION AND FINISHING Allow proper cure/drying time before setting furniture or rugs on a newly finished floor. 48-72 HOURS for furniture and 14 DAYS for rugs. Please make sure to use quality felt pads on ALL furniture legs. When moving furniture be sure to LIFT, NOT DRAG. ONGOING MAINTENANCE AND CARE Wipe up all spills immediately. Do NOT wet mop a wood floor. Standing water will result in warping and damage. DRY MOP the floor regularly with a microfiber mop. For a deeper clean use ONLY the cleaner recommended by Quality Hardwoods. Some household products will result in long-term damage to your wood floor. Use non rubber-back walk off mats to prevent outside debris from scratching your floor. Place a non rubber-back area rug in front of the kitchen sink and stove. To prevent denting, avoid walking on your wood floors in cleats, sport shoes and high heels. To prevent scratching, keep pet claws trimmed on a regular basis. To keep your floor from cracking or shrinking, and minimize natural movement, maintain consistent humidity and temperature levels OUR SERVICES

Bona Finishes We have used Bona water based finishes for years and love the results. Bona water based finishes are both beautiful and durable bringing out the best in your hardwood floor. All of their finishes dry quickly and provide excellent build and protection. Bona finishes were used in the Westminster Cathedral, Nike headquarters, and even on NBA and NCAA arenas. JAMIE KIDD OPERATION MANAGER Jamie is a graduate of Bethel University with a degree in art. His talent to design and his artistic eye have been a valuable asset to Quality Hardwoods and to the customer. He has worked for Quality Hardwoods since 2003. His ability to work with his hands and his seasoned knowledge and experience in all areas of hardwood flooring make him a vital part of the company. JOSH RIOS JOB FOREMAN ​ Josh has been part of the team since 2014. Josh is a hard worker with great skill. He is very knowledgeable and has excellent communication skills. Josh has set high standards of excellence for himself and for those he works with. He takes pride in his work and he is not satisfied unless the job is done right. MICHAEL HARTMAN Michael has years of experience working with Quality Hardwoods. He is a excellent flooring installer and is equally good at sanding and refinishing. Michael is a true Craftsman with a eye for detail and quality. He takes great pride in his work and has a curious mind to know and acquire more skills. JOSH RUFFNER Josh is a job foreman who has worked with us for over 3 years. He has a personal background in woodworking and he has proved to be a quick learner as well as hard worker. Josh is fully accomplished in installation, repairs, and sand and finishing of hardwood floors. He provides excellent customer service and is dependable and trustworthy. DEVONNE MCLAUGHLIN Devonne comes from a family that has worked in the construction industry. Devonne is learning the hardwood flooring trade and is becoming more proficient in the total process. Devonne has a great attitude and big smile. CHRISTIAN WALKER Christian is new to our team and comes with a background as a car mechanic. Christian has a great work ethic and shows great promise as he is quickly learning the flooring trade.
