IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING INSTALLATION AND FINISHING

Allow proper cure/drying time before setting furniture or rugs on a newly finished floor.

48-72 HOURS for furniture and 14 DAYS for rugs.

Please make sure to use quality felt pads on ALL furniture legs.

When moving furniture be sure to LIFT, NOT DRAG.
ONGOING MAINTENANCE AND CARE

Wipe up all spills immediately.

Do NOT wet mop a wood floor. Standing water will result in warping and damage.

DRY MOP the floor regularly with a microfiber mop.

For a deeper clean use ONLY the cleaner recommended by Quality Hardwoods. Some household products will result in long-term damage to your wood floor.

Use non rubber-back walk off mats to prevent outside debris from scratching your floor.

Place a non rubber-back area rug in front of the kitchen sink and stove.

To prevent denting, avoid walking on your wood floors in cleats, sport shoes and high heels.

To prevent scratching, keep pet claws trimmed on a regular basis.

To keep your floor from cracking or shrinking, and minimize natural movement, maintain consistent humidity and temperature levels
